Well I'll just up and say I'm not dead as of yet. Probably close what with all this schoolwork and stress and sleep and daily needs, but I'm getting by. Unfortunately this means a drop in activity on here, but I'm hoping to change that in the coming months.

For those of you who live in the States, you know what the Fourth of July is a time of beer, barbecues, and big bangs. The celebration of when our founding fathers made the transition from being just another British colony to being its own country. It's a fitting time for a celebration, if you ask me. I just wish I was old enough to get drunk...oh well, maybe next year. 

Well, I suppose I should announce my plans for Blakfire to keep whoever's waiting from...waiting.

Anywho, I've decided that the first few chapters need to be re-done, mainly to give a more...manga feel? I dunno. I just feel like I can do better with it. One of these changes will be the removal of a few plot points, and the displacement of others, including the chapter I mentioned in an earlier post, the one with the school killings and all that. Mind you, I'm not removing/displacing it for the controversy, but because, with the plans I have in mind, it will no longer be needed at this time. However, it is likely I will introduce it at another point in the story, where it fits better. For the moment, though, I am likely putting it on reserve. In addition, I have a new design for the Skyfoxx. I'm still clearing up the rough edges, but it should be done fairly soon, and this will hopefully be the actual final draft, if you know what I mean.


In addition, I have recently been experimenting with a 3d program called Sketchup, and have managed to get the hand of it. I'll probably be submitting some pictures of my creations fairly soon.

Now, I'm sure you've all heard by now about the tragic CT elementary school shooting. Very nasty stuff. While my heart goes out to the victims, it also brings up something that I was unaware of until my mom of all people brought it to my attention.

For those of you who have been following my story, you are aware of the chapter where Blaize has a nightmare, and it involves some....graphic material concerning a school, and killings. My mother, who follows the story as well (to my...dismay at times) pointed out that in light of the recent killing, it may not be the most appropriate content to have on my account. So, I must ask you, my watchers, a question: Should I remove/rewrite that chapter?

Before you decide, be aware that recently, I have been considering rewriting the first few chapters myself, due to my change in authorial style and skill. So, if I do rewrite the chapter, I will most likely do so along with the rest of the beginning as well. What do you think? Leave your comments below, please.
